I have had stayed at the Almarossa in October/November. After all, I only have good things to say: Great apartments (all of them are very modern and well-equipped, and also with a great view!), the staff is very kind and helpful to the guests. If you are coming to Bologna I definitely suggest you stay at Almarossa, I'm sure you will have a great time there. PS: the location is very central, you are in piazza Maggiore within 8 minutes by walk.

Well positioned in the university area. Room was spacious and comfortable . The staff were very accommodating and relaxed . I would recommend this to someone who likes to be independent. It is not really a hotel. You can get food in the area very easily there is a supermarket very close by. It is an easy walk to the centre of Bologna and to the railway station. There are many interesting sights to be seen in the area especially the university museums and good access to public transport.

Plus: The apartment was spacious, very quiet and  clean. Excellent wi-fi and TV with English news.  There is a small well stocked supermarket, numerous small cafes, bars and restaurants within 5 mins walk.

Minus: There was a very limited supply of the toiletries, handwash and washing up liquid.
There was no easy access to an iron on the fifth floor.

We have had a perfect stay. The hotel actively participated in all our wishes and possibilities given the limitation of my friend (wheelchair). We stayed overnight in a Suite Comfort which was very spacious, modern and clean and fully equipped. The hotel is near the heart of the center of Bologna but also the train and bus station is close by, making the hotel and the city a perfect base to visit other places in Italy.

Brand new and well organized, convenient to the station and the historic center, in a "clean" area. Great air conditioning adjustable in room, a "must" in the worst hot summer days in Bologna.

Great location, nearby the center and the Bologna fair. We had 2 large rooms with a kitchen. The rooms are spacious and very nice decorated. Thanks to the large windows you have a nice view on the church on the other side of the street.
The staff is really friendly and welcoming. If you have any questions they are always willing to help.
If you are looking for a great location to spend some time in Bologna or if you are visiting the fair, I would really recommend Almarossa.

Comfortable, modern and clean rooms. Innovative structure. Breakfast is adequate but still tasty. Close to city center

Plus: Location, Beds, Clean and newly remodelled rooms.
Minus:Breakfast. Just have it outdoors as everyone else
